Kim The Eisteddfod was wicked, it was a full on day of full on fun at the Festival Theatre. All of the other schools were great and we thank them for that. It is great, we actually beat a record the first time at the Eisteddfod, for putting up and taking down the set in 14 seconds, Great! We would like to thank all the teachers and parents of Marbury, including Craig, Marjike, Katrina, Chris, Philly and all the staff at the Festival Theatre. Thank you it was a really great day. |

Elissa I really enjoyed the Eisteddfod it was a great experience and all the other schools were really supportive of us even though we stuffed up a lot! We were not really expecting to get to the finals this year was mostly for the experience, and even though we've never been in the Eisteddfod before I think we did pretty well. |

Maggie I had a great experience at the 2002 Eisteddfod. Meeting all the schools was lots of fun! Stepping on to the stage was frightening. But when we were on we didn't want to get off. Next year we are planning to do it again. But it's going to be bigger. |

Annalise I enjoyed the experience it was really fun and also very challenging it was great to meet all the other schools. This was our first year that we used as a trial year so now we know what to improve on next year. The parents and teachers that helped were really nice. The whole day was great fun and every one was so supportive and enthusiastic. I hope it will be this much fun next year. |

Gideon Dodd Being in the Marbury production of the Moulin Rouge, was quite a hassle at the start of the production. But when we were within four weeks of the performance I really worked hard to get everything together. I was also very pleased with the roll of the year eight girls and how much they did to get the whole thing underway. Everything was really fun, especially the performance and finally I am just grateful that I could be part of it. |

Kimo At the Rock Eisteddfod I didn't really like having to run down fifteen flights of stairs, but what I really enjoyed was watching all the other schools dance. My personal favourite was Pandora's Box danced by Woodville, I congratulate them on their success! I also enjoyed watching the teachers dance. The relaxed atmosphere made me feel that I could talk to all the other students who were very kind and wished us all good luck. I got annoyed at how we had to change our music at the last moment so all the dance movements didn't go with the music. But I really had a lot of fun and next year I will dance in it. |

Annie At the Rock Eisteddfod I had fun being part of the stage crew. It was a new and exciting experience not only for me but I'm sure it was for everyone else involved as well. I enjoyed watching the other Schools in the rehearsal, my personal favourite was Woodville High School who did "Pandora's Box". It was a very relaxed atmosphere which made it very easy to talk to other students, who were all very friendly and wished all of us good luck. It was a very long day (14 hours at the Festival Theater) but I think it was a great experience and I'm looking forward to next year. |

Cassie I really enjoyed the Rock Eisteddfod, the sets and costumes were fantastic and everyone was very sweet and encouraging. There was music and dancing at the beginning and it was a great way to make friends with other schools. My favourite school was Woodville's Pandora's Box. |

Linden Being in the Eisteddfod is something that I definitely won't forget. It wasn't all fun, with much time spent in rehearsals, and the day itself was very draining, but once you get on stage you forget it all and just start having fun. Being stuck in the Festival Theatre for about 15 hours without much sight of daylight is horrible to say the least, but it's great to finally show off what you have been working on for months in front of a couple of thousand people, see other school's shows, and explore the labyrinth of the backstage area. It's also good to meet all the people from other schools. |

Peter I enjoyed the Eisteddfod because of the general experience of public speaking and the atmosphere of something I hadn't done before, seeing what it was like putting on the show, instead of just watching it, working through nervousness and going past it. It was a really good learning experience. |

Lyrian The Eisteddfod was really fun and I had fun running around insanely. We did a good performance but it could have been better with more practise. |
